Plantlife is a regenerative landscape design and construction studio based in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. We specialise in creating purposeful outdoor environments that restore habitat, support biodiversity, and help people reconnect with the land they live on.

Founded by garden designer and horticulturist Pete Morgan, Plantlife grew from a deep respect for Australia’s unique ecosystems—and a belief that landscape design can play a powerful role in restoring them. Pete’s connection to the natural world began in childhood, exploring riverside bushland and learning from the land itself. That early passion became a 20+ year career dedicated to restoring habitat, regenerating soil, and designing landscapes that work in harmony with nature.

We believe outdoor spaces can do more than look good — they can heal ecosystems, deepen our relationship with place, and bring lasting meaning to how we live. Every project is guided by ecological insight, intentional design, and a deep respect for natural systems. We work with nature, not against it, creating landscapes that are resilient, beautiful, and built to thrive for generations.

From large-scale gardens to habitat restoration and native replanting, we deliver end-to-end projects grounded in collaboration, care, and long-term stewardship. We honour each client’s vision while staying true to our values of restoration, integrity, and purposeful design.

Plantlife also extends into education and community through our store, workshops, and events—helping others live more slowly, intentionally, and in harmony with the land.
